Megan Moroney has been a dedicated Justin Bieber fan for years—and she’s not afraid to show it.
In a new Rolling Stone cover story published on March 12, the 27-year-old country singer shared how deep her love for the pop star runs. When she was younger, she even made custom T-shirts inspired by Kesha’s hit song TiK ToK for one of Bieber’s concerts. The shirts read: “Dudes are linin’ up ’cause they hear we got fever, but we kick ’em to the curb unless they look like J Bieber.”
Beyond being a longtime fan, Moroney also dreams of working with Bieber. In the interview, she revealed she’s currently working on her third album and has written a song called You for Me—a duet she hopes Bieber would sing with her.
“Maybe he would feel that way about Hailey. I know he does,” she said, referencing his wife, Hailey Bieber.
Moroney’s second album, Am I Okay?, dropped in July 2024, just a year after her debut Lucky. She described the record as “Lucky‘s cooler older cousin that can drink,” adding that it was designed for bigger venues and felt more emotionally intense.
Despite her “emo cowgirl” style, Moroney explained that many of the songs on Am I Okay? balance deep emotions with confidence.
“Some days I wake up and feel so confident, and then other days I wake up and try not to text him,” she joked.
As she continues to build her career, one thing is clear—Moroney’s love for Bieber hasn’t faded, and she’s holding out hope for a future collaboration.
