Denise Richards Gets Emotional as Daughter Sami Reveals She Wants a Nose Job After Being Bullied for Resembling Dad Charlie Sheen
On the March 11 episode of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Denise Richards became emotional after her daughter Sami Sheen, 20, revealed that she was undergoing a nose job—something she had wanted for years.
While on their way to a consultation, Sami explained that she had been insecure about her nose for as long as she could remember.
“Imagine how much prettier I’ll be,” Sami joked, while Denise rolled her eyes. “[I’ll be] able to contour without there being lumps on the side of it.”
Denise, 54, playfully dismissed the idea, quipping, “Maybe we need to take you to an eye doctor.”

During the episode, Sami reflected on how bullying in high school made her self-conscious about her appearance.
“I had to deal with kids bullying me. People would say I looked like my dad,” she shared. “I actually got a comment the other day of someone saying, ‘You’ll never be as pretty as your mom.’”
She continued with a self-deprecating joke, saying that even if she lived in Alabama with parents who worked normal jobs, she would still want a new nose.
“I have this freaking honker stuck to my face,” she declared.
When Denise disagreed, Sami teasingly replied, “Mom, I’m literally paying for your nose.”
In a confessional, Denise got emotional over Sami’s decision.
“For my daughter to want to get her nose done, it made me so sad,” she said, tearing up. “I feel bad that she has to live up to my nose, or whatever, because I don’t want [my daughters] to feel they have to look a certain way.”
She also expressed guilt over raising her daughters in Hollywood.
“There were times I wanted to move the kids out of L.A., and I couldn’t because of where I worked. And they had two parents in this business. I feel bad.”
Sami Moves Forward with the Surgery—Without Denise by Her Side
At the doctor’s office, Sami excitedly told him she wanted a more “feminine nose”, pointing to Denise’s as the ideal example. However, she made it clear that she didn’t want her mom present for the actual surgery.
“It would just give me anxiety,” she admitted.
She also revealed that she kept the surgery a secret from her younger sister, Lola, 19, explaining that when she got her breast augmentation, she told too many people and regretted being influenced by their opinions.
“I wish I went bigger,” she confessed. “So many people told me to go smaller, and that really affected how they came out. I wish I just didn’t tell anyone.”
When the day of the procedure arrived, Sami admitted that she did regret not having Denise by her side.
“I feel bad, and I don’t want to offend her,” she said. “I know if my mom was here, she would ask him a bunch of questions.”
Denise later shared that while it hurt to be excluded, she respected Sami’s decision.
Denise Accidentally Spills Sami’s Secret to Lola
Meanwhile, as Sami was in surgery, Denise unintentionally revealed her secret to Lola during a casual conversation about who would be watching their dogs for the weekend.
“Sami can watch them,” Lola suggested.
“No, she’s gonna have her nose job done,” Denise blurted out—only to realize her mistake immediately.
Shocked, Lola responded, “What?” before Denise covered her mouth, realizing she wasn’t supposed to say anything.
“The thing is, telling secrets to my mom—it never ends well,” Lola laughed.
Despite the mix-up, Sami ultimately went through with her procedure, marking a major moment in her journey of self-confidence.
