Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ £30 million LA mansion has attracted swarms of tourists as the rapper is being held behind bars.
The music producer has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution and now it has been revealed that Diddy, who has vehemently denied all charges, will stand trial next May. Federal investigators have warned that their ongoing investigation may result in additional charges.
The 54-year-old, who faces 100 allegations of sexual abuse (a combination of criminal and civil suits), was denied bail after being arrested last month after police raided his portfolio of luxury mansions. Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York – a jail so notorious that concerned judges will regularly hesitate before sending defendants there.
The grim confines of the MDC will likely prove a sharp contrast to Diddy’s stunning LA home – a 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom mega-mansion nestled in the opulent neighbourhood of Holmby Hills.

The star-studded neighbourhood is home to Kylie Jenner and the Playboy mansion, and Holmby Hills is an area steeped in Hollywood history. Legendary former residents such as Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, and Marilyn Monroe once strolled its palm tree-lined streets, and it still holds its glamorous allure to this day.
But tourists are now turning up for a reason other than celeb spotting, with Diddy’s mansion taking on a macabre fascination following recent events, Hello! magazine reports, with tour operators noting an uptick in those wanting to see where the raid unfolded.
Back in March, officers swooped on Diddy’s ‘European-style’ home, situated on one of the most exclusive streets on Earth – South Mapleton Drive. The raid, which also took place at Diddy’s other palatial residence in Miami Florida, brought to light accusations of secret ‘freak off’ parties, which allegedly involved covert filming, sex workers, and underage girls, as well as illicit substances.
A grand jury indictment revealed that over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, three AR-15 rifles, and various drugs were confiscated. As per documents previously obtained by The Mirror: “In or about March 2024, during searches of Combs’ residences in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California, law enforcement seized various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1.000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”

Last month, it was reported that Diddy was putting the 13,000-square-foot property on the market for $61.5 million (£46 million) – substantially more than the $39 million (£30 million) he himself paid back in 2014. The lucky new owner will enjoy a number of lavish features, including a bar, wine cellar, library, gym, an indoor sauna, and a pool, plus a ‘state-of-the-art theatre that can accommodate 35 people’.
As per the listing: “The stunning grounds feature beautiful lawns, mature trees, formal gardens, a resort-like swimming pool with waterfall and grotto, basketball court, spa house and an outdoor covered loggia with BBQ, bar, and pizza oven.” As well as the main Colonial-style house, there’s a two-story guest house on the sprawling grounds, complete with a gym and recording studio. However, only ‘prequalified clients’ will get a viewing, keeping any nosy fans at bay.
In a statement made following Diddy’s arrest, his legal rep Erica Wolff said: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”
Speaking to TMZ, she added: “That said, Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
