Sean “Diddy” Combs faces new allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in a civil lawsuit, making this at least the twelfth misconduct claim against him in recent months.
The lawsuit, filed in New York, features claims from Jane Doe, who alleges that she was drugged with alcohol and unknown substances and sexually assaulted by Combs multiple times in 2022. The allegations stretch from fall 2020 to summer 2024, coinciding with Combs’ involvement in several lawsuits and federal investigations.
The complaint states that during her visits, Combs allegedly forced her to “perform a show” while supplying her with drugs and alcohol until she passed out. She reported waking up with unexplained bruises and injuries. One incident from April 2022 reportedly involved Combs coercing her into non-consensual intercourse. After another incident that spring, she awoke with bruised feet and a bite mark.
Doe also claims that in July 2022, she was given ketamine and other drugs, leading to a blackout and an assault that resulted in pregnancy. An associate of Combs allegedly pressured her to consider an abortion, but she later experienced a miscarriage.
In July 2024, Doe alleges Combs forced pills into her mouth upon her arrival at his Miami residence. Following this, she claimed that water she drank tasted odd and made her feel unwell. The next morning, she reported feeling ill and unable to recall the previous night’s events.
The lawsuit indicates that Doe felt unsafe after witnessing Combs physically abuse other women and believed her communications were being monitored. She reported receiving harassing calls and texts from him that persisted through July 2024.
Combs’ representatives have been contacted for comment. His companies and several unnamed associates are also named in the suit.
Marie Napoli, Doe’s attorney, stated that powerful figures in the entertainment industry often exploit aspiring artists and emphasized that no one is above the law, including Combs.
These allegations follow Combs’ recent indictment on charges related to racketeering, sex trafficking, and other offenses. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in federal detention awaiting trial.
In total, Combs is facing around a dozen civil lawsuits related to alleged sexual misconduct, with one case settled and eleven still active. He has denied the claims made in several lawsuits and has yet to respond to others.
