A lucky Lottery winner could find themselves $4 million richer by checking their old tickets after a Mega Millions prize has not been claimed.
One winner of an incredible life changing amount of money has yet to come forward and claim their substantial cash sum after they bought a ticket in a popular Delaware grocery store. The ticket in question was for the draw on August 20, 2024, and was purchased at Redner’s Market in Camden.
The clock is ticking for the winning ticket holder who has until August 20, 2025 to claim their prize before it is gone forever. If you have a winning lottery ticket your prize can be claimed in multiple ways.

If your winnings are $599 or less you can take take your ticket to any Delaware Lottery Retailer or claim your prize in person at the Delaware Lottery Office. You can also claim by post if you print your name and address clearly on the back of the ticket and mail it to the Delaware Lottery Office.
You will also need to fill out the claim form and make a copy of the ticket(s) and claim form or take a clear photo of the front and back using a smartphone. If you have won $2,500 or less you can make your claim at select Delaware Lottery Retailer Claim Centers throughout Kent, Sussex and New Castle Counties.
Any prize between $600 to $5,000 can be claimed between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday at any of the redemption centers. If you’re lucky enough to have won $5,001 or more you must claim the winnings at the Delaware Lottery Office any business day from 8 am to 4 pm.

All winning Delaware Lottery tickets are subject to Delaware Income Tax and to successfully claim their prize, winners need to provide: Their winning ticket, a completed Winner Claim Form, a valid government-issued ID, and a valid Social Security Number or FEIN.
Mega Millions recently announced that ticket prices will more than double next year as a part of a revamp of the game. Starting in April 2025 the price of a ticket will increase from $2 to $5. Other changes being implemented in the spring include no breakeven prizes.
